On the morning of February 22, the Fly-Via-Zhuhai-Hong Kong Service Center and Call Center were officially launched at the Overseas Chinese Hotel, aiming to provide more high-quality and comprehensive services for passengers who fly from Hong Kong via Zhuhai.
The Fly-Via-Zhuhai-Hong Kong Service Center and Call Center, jointly promoted and operated by Zhuhai Airport, Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), and China Travel Service Gongbei Guangdong, a subsidiary of Guangdong Provincial Publishing Group, will provide passengers with airport information, flight information, land transportation, plane ticket booking, refunds and changes, as well as tourism services in Zhuhai and Macao.
The "Fly-Via-Zhuhai-HK" is a brand-new and favorable customs clearance policy in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) actively promoted by Zhuhai. It is an international passenger intermodal transportation brand by collaboration of Zhuhai and Hong Kong.
The "Fly-Via-Zhuhai-HK" policy refers to the "air-land-air" international intermodal transportation mode for passengers from the Chinese mainland arriving at Zhuhai Airport, taking a bonded bus through the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) to the HKIA for boarding a plane.
Through this mode, passengers can be exempted from two inspection procedures for entering and leaving Hong Kong. They can enjoy the unique charm of the HZMB, a "century project", along the way. Upon reaching the HKIA SkyPier Terminal, destination of the bonded bus, passengers can also receive a HK$120 departure tax refund, which makes the trip both cost-effective and convenient. If they have a longer stopover in Zhuhai, they can also visit popular attractions in this city, taking pleasure in visiting multiple destinations in one trip.
Since Airshow China will be held in Zhuhai this year, the supporting services of the "Fly-Via-Zhuhai-HK" will be able to provide both Chinese and foreign passengers with a better travel experience. More efforts will be made through the "Fly-Via-Zhuhai-HK" project to offer "point-to-point" travel services for passengers from domestic cities.
