Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai

The amount of service outsourcing conducted by Zhuhai reached $821 million in the first half of this year, surpassing Foshan and Dongguan for the first time to rank third in Guangdong Province, according to the city's bureau of commerce.

MTU Maintenance Zhuhai, Zhuhai Gotech Intelligent Technology, and Zhuhai Wiseman recorded a combined amount of $682 million yuan in service outsourcing. They were three major contributors to the sector.

Behind the scenes, the city has launched specialized policies to support the development of the service outsourcing industry. This year, 64 enterprises and 72 projects have received total funds of 9.8 million yuan ($1.4 million).

Zhuhai has also been active in organizing service outsourcing enterprises to attend trade activities. Thirty enterprises secured six contracts of intent worth about 4 million yuan ($581,810) this year.  

Noticeably, Macao enterprises also received robust support to set up a headquarters in Zhuhai for service outsourcing businesses related to finance and software development. They made $13.15 million in service outsourcing from January to June, up 16 percent year-on-year.
