A Zhuhai delegation of five cultural-creative industrial parks, four cultural industrial bases, 22 enterprises and Doumen Engraving Art Association made a grand appearance at the 15th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair.

The fair, which was held in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, from May 16 to 20, attracted more than 22,000 overseas buyers from 103 countries and regions. The largest event of its kind in the country, it serves as a platform for global cultural industry players to display their cultural products, showcase the latest cultural development and seek business cooperation opportunities.

Occupying an area of 301 sq m (360 sq yd), the Zhuhai Pavilion was located in Hall 1 of the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center. Its design featured the distinctive elements of local landmarks such as the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, Zhuhai Opera House and the Zhuhai-made AG600 large amphibious aircraft.

Cultural industrial parks and bases promoted their development plans, investment environment and policies. They included Gemdale Power Port Business Park, V12 Cultural & Creative Industry Park, Kimka Creative Valley, Lets Cultural Complex, Makerstation Creative Park and Hengqin International Advertisement Park.

4DAGE, MoreSmart, Zhuhai Mktech Intelligent Technology and HiVi Acoustics were among the 10 cultural sci-tech enterprises that set up exhibitions and hands-on experience areas to showcase their intelligent products.

Videos of local top-billed cultural events such as the China International Circus Festival, Beishan World Music Festival, the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) China and Zhuhai International Beach Music Festival were also there for promotion.

Mammoth ivory artworks brought by the seven member enterprises of Doumen Engraving Art Association proved a hit at the fair.

Of particular note was the newly established Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Cultural Industrial Hall. Chimelong International Ocean Resort Phase II, Legend Ponto Square and the Themed Cultural Street of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Science & Technology Industrial Park of Cooperation Between Guangdong & Macao exhibited there on behalf of the city's outstanding achievements in the cultural industry.
