Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai

A wide collage of popular science, family-friendly, cultural, and sports activities are being choreographed in Jinwan District to entertain tourists during the May Day holiday from the 1st to 4th.

Nutrition Exploration

Free visits can be made to the By-Health Transparent Factory, the first 4A-level national tourist attraction in Jinwan, for a close look at the use of raw materials, storage, production, and detection of dietary supplements.

Balance Bike Race and More

Children aged between 2 and 5 are invited to participate in a Balance Bike Race at the By-Health Transparent Factory on May 1 from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Intangible cultural heritage items such as Sanzao Crane Dance and Dingjiawan Tea Refreshments will also enlighten the children, as will folk arts such as paper-cutting and sugar-painting.

Aviclub Adventure

Aviclub near Zhuhai (Jinwan) Airport offers visitors a chance to operate flight simulators, take part in hand-thrown aircraft and robot races, try out balance exercises, and tour an aviation culture exhibition hall, aircraft production lines, and an airport reviewing stand.

Canoe and Kayak

A Canoeing & Kayaking race will be held in Sanban Village, Hongqi Town on May 2 from 2 to 5:30 pm. Participants of the 200-m (219-yd) youth, 200-m (219-yd) parent-child, 800-m (875-yd) men's open, 800-m (875-yd) women's open, and 200-m (219-yd) stand-up paddling groups will set off at the same time and have one turn back.

Kayak Race

Beyond that, visitors can also sample farmhouse treats, tour Sanban Agro-Ecological Park, or cycle through the picturesque waterside village.

Fun Run

With no grades and rankings, healthy outdoor sport lovers aged between 16 and 50 are invited to run for fun and passion on May 4th from 9 to 11:30 am in Aviation New Town. The 5.4-km (3.4-mile) route starts from the North Cultural Square of East Airport Road (Jinwan Lovers Avenue) and ends at #3 Water Gate where there will be shuttle buses to return runners to the starting point.  

The race is limited to 900. Organizers will offer lucky draws and awards for creative dress-up and family participation to enhance the attraction.

Motorists can park at the lots of Auspicious Hotel or Aviation New Town. Those choosing public transport can take buses to Poly Champagne, Huxin Road, or the Xihu Urban Area.
