Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai

Zhuhai plans to develop 20 km of walking trails, 40 km of boulevards, and nine rural landscape sites as part of a proposed greenway network that has already begun taking shape.

Zhuhai boasts a total 1,098 km of greenways that connect city parks, university campuses, historical sites, and other tourist attractions. There are 58 unique rest stops along the route.

More than 50 activities have been held on the greenways since 2010, attracting over 10 million participants. Activities have included cycling, hiking, flying kites, and dancing, according to a local official.
