Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai

The "Cultural Xiangzhou, Colorful seasons" event began on March 23 in Zhuhai. Dozens of prominent poets from throughout the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area gathered to admire the beautiful scenery.

The curtain was lifted on a year's worth of activities including poetry in spring, painting in summer, dancing in autumn, and singing in winter. A total of 13 dynamic shows will be held during the event.

A public WeChat account publicizing upcoming cultural and sports events was also launched at the opening ceremony. People can use the account to book venues, sign up for activities, and receive related updates. The account will allow cultural and sports organizations to serve people more efficiently and the management department to allocate resources more reasonably, as it will give them a better understanding of public interests.

A culture and sports information service platform is launched.

Having been held for three consecutive years since 2016, the events are well-loved by locals, attracting over 30,000 people from all walks of life. It has produced 90 high-caliber art teams, 60 cultural volunteer leaders and 150 other volunteers, and 60 art tutors. A number of performances introduced at the event later went on to obtain more than 130 provincial awards.
