Loads of Spring Festival activities offered in Zhuhai

The cultural and artistic atmosphere is strong in Zhuhai. The city offered a variety of ways to celebrate the Spring Festival, and a large number of locals chose to enjoy their holiday by visiting museums or attending exhibitions.
The Gu Yuan Museum of Art held regular hours during the golden holiday and received 13,908 visitors between Deb 4 and 10, who came to admire the works of printmaker Gu Yuan (1919-96), as well as oil paintings and wood-cuts.
There were also throngs of visitors at the Zhuhai Museum to admire its ceramic works, oil paintings, and artistic creations featuring various folk customs. More than 27,500 visitors attended the museum's 12 themed exhibitions from Feb 5 to 10.
A number of intangible cultural heritage items, including on-water weddings, mudfish-catching activities, Sanzao, and Crane Dances, were held at the Zhuhai Cultural Center, and a selection of pen-and-ink calligraphy works was on display as well, attracting over 21,100 visitors throughout the Spring Festival holiday.
