Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai

Encircled by a 2,400-m (1.5-mile) track, the newly created Xiangshan Lake Park opened to the public in New Xiangzhou on Jan 1. It has a tourist service center, bicycle lane and footpath, lotus pond, covered corridor, entertainment-oriented docks, restaurants, and bars.

The park covers 147 hectares (363 acres) in the first phase. It is located off Jianmin Road, north of Meihua Road, east of Zhuhai #1 Middle School, west of Dajingshan Reservoir, and south of Meixi Reservoir.

When the remainder of the park is completed, there will be another 149 hectares (368 acres) of mountain scenery and forests. It will eventually occupy 296 hectares (731 acres), with a width of 1.5 km (.9 miles) and length of 3.3 km (2 miles).

Zhengfang Holdings plans to include water amusement facilities in the future.
