Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai

One hundred enterprises receiving foreign direct investment and 10 foreign-invested R&D centers in Guangdong deemed to have made tremendous contributions to the province's Reform & Opening-up were given honorary plaques in Zhuhai on Dec 11.

The list of the top 100 enterprises included seven Zhuhai entrants: Zhuhai Power Plant, Flextronics Manufacturing (Zhuhai), COOECO-Fluor Heavy Industries, BP Zhuhai Chemical, Zhuhai Mitsumi Electric, Zhuhai Yue Yufeng Iron & Steel, and Mektec Manufacturing Corp Zhuhai.

Print-Rite Holdings, a premium manufacturer of printer consumables located in Nanping, Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai, was named one of the 10 best foreign-invested R&D institutions.

The award ceremony also provided a platform for Zhuhai to showcase its favorable business climate and support policies.

The event was co-sponsored by the Department of Commerce of Guangdong and the Zhuhai municipal government.
