Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai

Xiangzhou's first district-level library opened on Dec 1 with a collection of more than 20,000 volumes and spaces for reading, leisure, and salons.

Located at Lets Cultural District, the new facility offers a public reading area of 1,100 sq m, commodious enough for hundreds of people. Available resources include materials on sociology, literature, and many other subjects including advice on daily life. They are all accessible through self-service machines. There is also an E-reading room, free Wifi access, shared phone chargers, and glasses for those who need them.

The Xiangzhou Reading Alliance was set up the same day the library was opened. It has provided memberships to Spiritual Wealth and 11 other reading organizations.

Useful tips

Opening time: 10 am to 10 pm, Tuesday – Friday

Transportation guide: Take buses No 5, 15, 41, 42, 45, and 60 to the Human Resources Center, cross the street and walk further 500 m to the library. Those who drive to the library can park their cars at a self-service parking garage about 100 m away from the Lets Cultural District.
