Xiangzhou's attendance at the Nov 5-10 China International Import Expo (CIIE) held in Shanghai led to not only higher visibility for the innovative Zhuhai district but also confirmation of many deals.

For example, Gree Electric Appliances of Zhuhai, China Electronics Zhuhai, and Zhuhai Tools & Equipment entered into cooperation agreements and import procumbent contracts valued at $200 million.

They were among several Xiangzhou key enterprises featured at a CIIE business promotion event. About 110 domestic and international business representatives were given a rundown of Xiangzhou’s developmental prospects, industrial base, policies, ecological environment, and government services.

Two hundred companies formed the Xiangzhou delegation to the first-of-its-kind expo organized by China.

Thousands of enterprises from more than 100 countries attended the event, bringing up to a million commodities and services to the Chinese market.
