Music fans from around the country are ready, so ready, for the Zhuhai International Beach (Shark) Music Festival 2018. It will be staged on Oct 1 and 2 at Haibin Beach (City Parlor). The event heads the list of ways that Xiangzhou District will celebrate this National Day.

Music! Music! Music!

The 2018 edition of Zhuhai's premier music festival is exactly where music mixes with water. More than 12 bands and some of the country‘’s hottest singers, such as singer-songwriters Hua Chenyu and Mao Buyi, will show why they are so popular, as will famous Chinese rock band Second-hand Rose. The duo Excuse Me and balladeer Chen Hongyu will be along to bolster the already heavy lineup.

Blending of culture with entertainment, delicacy

The New Yuanming Palace, located on Jiuzhou Avenue has duplicated 18 of 40 scenes of Beijing's Yuanming Palace, of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), in accordance with how it looked before it was burned down during the second Opium War (1856-60). The buildings combine old scenes with modern features, displaying royal palaces, royal dishes and Fuhai Lake.

During the National Day "Golden Week" holiday, the palace will turn itself into a foodie paradise by holding the 12th International Food Festival. At the global gourmet gathering visitors will be served specialties of various counties and special snacks. A performance of modern dance, magic shows, and face-changing will add to the atmosphere. A large-scale music and dance epic Dream Back to Yuanming Palace will be staged daily at 5 pm. Other routine performances will display the etiquette of the royal court of Qing. There will be ticket discounts on holidays, according to operators.

Delights of county life at hand

The Agriculture Paradise is a 4A tourist spot in Qianshan. Themed on high-tech agriculture, it is divided into zones for sightseeing, leisure activities, and agricultural science experiments.

On holidays visitors will be offered close animal contacts and gifts in all kinds of activities. Maze navigation, gourmet tasting, and vegetable picking will ensure multiple delights.

Beer carnival calls for good drinkers

Oktoberfest-Lets Party which is already underway at LETS Cultural District Livehouse in Qianshan, has gathered numerous beer aficionados. There is a big chance to enjoy luxurious yacht travels by winning daily drinking competitions. Challengers ranked in the top 10 are awarded prizes.

The party will also include various fascinating games and an assortment of food.

Munich's Oktoberfest is a brand with global appeal. The folk festival consumes about 6 million liters of beer, 500,000 chickens annually.
