Craftsmen emerge when competition closes

The two-month-long district-wide skills competition drew to a close in Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai on Sept 25, with eight winners crowned as Xiangzhou Craftsmen.
The competition, held annually since 2016 by the district government to promote craftsmanship saw the largest participation ever this year, attracting 717 contestants from 181 companies. They showed off skills in 17 categories such as printing supplies, car repairs, cooking, power cables, and e-commerce.
Lu Mingzhi, Yang Hailong, Zhong Xiang were among the other winners to receive the honor as well as enjoy preferential policy treatment accordingly, according to the organizer.

A participant is programming carefully at the parts processing contest, to allow machine tools will operate accordingly.

The products will be scored in size precision, shape accuracy, surface roughness, and operating time.
