Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai

A dance performed by Spring Charm Arts Troupe from Nanping Town praising the country's increased active role in the new era wins the square-dancing competition organized by Xiangzhou District. The contest is part of the brand annual event of the "Cultural Xiangzhou, Colorful Seasons" and consists of competitions among 18 teams. Two winners, three runners-up and five bronze medalists are produced during the final round held at Sept 9.

Another competition embracing a wider range of dance types such as Mongolian, classical, and modern dances has received the participation of more than 300 contestants. It drops the curtain on Sept 8 at Ningxi Cultural Plaza.

Street dancers will find a good platform to strut their stuff in the fields of Freestyle and Breaking at the Metropolis Cube Cup Dance Competition to be held on Oct 13.
