Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai

In face of severe Typhoon Mangkhut, Xiangzhou District Volunteers Association established a volunteer service working group to fight against the storm under the leadership of CPC Xiangzhou District Committee, Zhuhai Municipality.

Volunteers will be organized to provide services such as environmental sanitation after typhoon.

The association has procured supplies, such as hatchets, gloves, masks, etc., to facilitate the volunteering work.

It has also issued a call through its public WeChat account looking for voluntary services and donation of supplies, and has already received responses from a large number of citizens and enterprises.

The latest typhoon information and prevention tips are being shared through a WeChat group.
