An apartment complex for employees of Gree Electric Appliances broke ground on Aug 25 and is scheduled to be completed by 2021.

Gree, headquartered in Xiangzhou District of Zhuhai, is the world's largest air conditioner manufacturer.

Groundbreaking ceremony

Committed to people-oriented management, Gree decided to provide more than 3,000 residences with sophisticated decoration for its skilled talents to increase their share of the company's development benefits.

The project is located west of the junction of Anlian and Cuiping roads in Qianshan area. A total of 11 residential buildings will provide 17.9 hectares of floor space, with room sizes ranging from 40 to 60 sq m.

There will also be a kindergarten, commercial facilities, a neighborhood center, and 1,900 parking spaces, according to a project head.
