Student volunteers gain insight into Greater Bay Area's future

Forty-eight university students have gathered to learn about and participate in the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The move is part of the 4th Guangdong-Hong Kong Youth Volunteer Service Cooperation Camp being held from Aug 19 to 25.
Students from Sun Yat-sen University and seven Hong Kong-based universities are participating.
Scheduled are visits to Huitong ancient village, Xiangzhou District, and Zhuhai National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone (Tangjiawan) where volunteers contribute at the grassroots level.

They are also to experience innovative development at the Macao-Hengqin Youth Entrepreneurship Valley (Inno Valley HQ) in the Lets Cultural District of Southern Software Park.
Themed lectures and surveys have been organized.
The event is sponsored by the Guangdong Youth Federation and the Home Affairs Bureau of the Hong Kong SAR Government. It is organized by the Guangdong Students' Federation and the Hong Kong Volunteers Association. The goal is to strengthen mutual understanding between Guangdong and Hong Kong youngsters and encourage their contributions to the future development of the Greater Bay Area.
