The China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition (namely Airshow China) will be held from Nov 6 to 11 in Zhuhai, Guangdong where more than 700 exhibitors from 43 countries and regions will interact with 130,000 professional visitors.

The biennial Zhuhai airshow is an international aerospace trade show in China that is endorsed by the Chinese central government. It has been held in Zhuhai every other year for 11 sessions since 1996.

This year's event will gather an increasing number of top 100 aviation and aerospace enterprises and players from the Belt & Road countries. The show is considered to be an important gateway to showcase the latest technology and products in the fast-growing Chinese market.

Some 200 military and political trade delegations from more than 60 countries have confirmed their attendance for the grand event, eager to buy the state-of-art products.

Thrilling aerobatic displays

The show features the display of real-size products, trade talks, forums, new product promotions, technological exchange and flying display. The indoor exhibition hall will be expanded to 100,000 sq m with the outdoor display area expected to exceed 400,000 sq m, large enough for star exhibits such as domestically made C919 passenger, and private Challenger 605 jets, and Boeing 787 wide-body aircraft.

The Saudi Hawks aerobatic team of the Royal Saudi Air Force will debut with nine Hawk MK 65A trainers, according to Zhuhai Airshow Co Ltd, the organizer of the event.

"The international influence of Airshow China has been continuously enhanced with the country's comprehensive strength over the past 20 years," said Zhou Zuode, director of the Zhuhai Convention & Expo Bureau. The event is both a calling card for Zhuhai and a demonstration platform for China's national defense industry, military hardware, and equipment technology, Zhou added.
