About a hundred technical staffs attend the IP-related training class to improve their vocational skills.
Tailored training courses were recently held at Nanping Science & Technology Industrial Park in Xiangzhou District to improve the knowledge of the technical staff regarding intellectual property rights and how to protect them.
Some 100 R & D workers from companies such as Zhuhai Sicoma Mechanical Equipment and Zhuhai Titan New Power Electronics attended the lessons for fundamentals of IPR, patent application procedures, and avoidance of patent infringement. Real cases were also used to explain how to properly use intellectual property.
The event, initiated last year, is part of the district's efforts to enhance employment skills of young technicians, under the guidance of the CPC Xiangzhou District Committee. Involving university professionals and industry experts, the event has been held 12 times featuring various topics, benefiting more than 600 workers.
