Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai

In the previous year, Zhuhai received numerous national and provincial awards for inventions and technological innovations; grantees were recently given a formal commendation in writing by the Guangdong government.

Zhuhai companies took home 11 Chinese patent awards of excellence and two Chinese design awards of excellence at the 19th China Patent Award in November last year. The 4th Guangdong Provincial Patent Award held in the same year granted two gold and five excellence awards to Zhuhai firms.

The recognized technical advancements involved biology, chemical engineering, medicine, electric appliances, new energy, integrated circuit, and precision instrument.  

Take Print-Rite Holdings for example, one of the world's largest vertically integrated printer supplies manufacturers headquartered in Xiangzhou District, clinched the Guangdong Provincial Gold Patent Award.

To date, through the implementation of innovation-driven strategy, Zhuhai has earned 50 Chinese patent awards and 69 provincial patent awards.
