Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai

Xiangzhou District in Zhuhai, Guangdong province, held a salon on June 14 giving more than 200 high-caliber talents, enterprise senior managers, and industry experts who attended the event a chance to establish relationships and learn how to be a successful entrepreneur.

Zhao Peng, founder of kanzhun.com, a popular website on jobs featuring employees' evaluations of their employers, was invited as the main speaker. Zhao shared his experience in human resource management and brand marketing and initiated discussions regarding startup financing, talent recruitment, and risk control.

Eight more of such events will be held to bridge communication among entrepreneurs, according to the organizer Organization Department of CPC Xiangzhou District. The goal is to create a platform that explores the latest industry trends, displays technological innovations, and helps find investment.

Xiangzhou has taken several measures in recent years to attract highly-skilled workers to work and live in the area, including a series of training programs.

It is currently home to 84 high-caliber talents including those listed in the national Thousand Talent Program, and 162 high-end industry talents, exceptional  young talents, and highly skilled talents as deemed by the local authorities.
