Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai

A Xiangzhou delegation of government officials and representatives from10 enterprises sought cooperation on talent cultivation at six vocational colleges in Zhanjiang of Guangdong Province and Hainan Province from May 6 to 11.

The Organization Department of CPC Xiangzhou District, Xiangzhou Human Resources & Social Security Bureau, and the Xiangzhou Human Resources Centre led the visit.

The schools involved were Guangdong AIB Polytechnic, Zhanjiang Mechanical and Electrical School, Hainan Technician College, Hainan Industrial School, Hainan Nationality Vestibule School, and Sanya Technician College of Hainan.

The Xiangzhou companies outlined their development status, prospects and requirements for talents hoping they would match with the employment-oriented policies of the colleges.

At the same time a recruitment event held at Hainan Nationality Vestibule School attracted more than 300 students, about 180 of whom signed preliminary work contracts.

In recent years, Xiangzhou District in Zhuhai has had a government-school-enterprise mechanism to promote local enterprises and attract specific talents. Relevant activities have been held for five consecutive years with over 100 colleges and universities within and outside the province closely involved.
