Always spick-and-span, the city of Zhuhai is now even more attractive with upgraded street lighting and floral street decorations. Upgrades were finished just in time, right before Spring Festival arrives on Feb 16.
Gangwan Avenue's green belts are adorned with seasonal flowers suitable for the coastal Guangdong city's sub-tropical maritime climate. The ianthus chinensis, pansies, sage, and spiderflower favored by local residents have been widely planted. Sprayer heads hidden behind beautiful coreopsis don't diminish the aesthetic appeal.
Meanwhile, new glamor has been added to the night view of the iconic Lovers Avenue. The winding seaside road has had its street lamps upgraded, with new designs in line with each section's characteristics. Architectural landmarks such as the Zhuhai Opera House, Yeli Island, Haibin Beach, Fisher Maiden sculpture, Shizimen Business District, and Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge provide illumination themes.
