Zhuhai Daily has recommended several one-day routes for holiday goers looking forward to checking out the coastal city during the Spring Festival break from Feb 15 to 21.

For visitors wanting to surround themselves with flowers, the following routes are suggested:

Line A: Xiangshan Post Station - Haibin Park - Shijingshan Park - Bailiandong (White Lotus Cave) Park

Line B: Doumen Nan'ao Village of Baijiao Town in Doumen District - Yifeng Ecological Health Care Park - Shili Lianjiang Agriculture Sightseeing & Experience Garden - Dongwan Village of Lianzhou Town – Gengguan Village of Lianzhou Town – Shangzhou Village of Doumen Town - Huatian Water Village in Jinwan District.

Local culture

Tourists who wish to experience more local cultural customs are advised to visit these places:

Line A: Tangjiawan Town (Tang Guo'an (Tong Kwo On) Memorial Hall, Huitong Village, Gongleyuan Park, Baishi Street, former residence of Su Zhaozheng (1885-1929)) - Meixi Royal Stone Archways - Beishan Village of Nanping Town (Yang Great Ancestral Hall and Yang Pao’an Memorial Hall).

Line B: Zhuhai Agricultural Wonder in Xiangzhou District - Meixi Royal Stone Archways - Nan’ao Village of Baijiao Town in Doumen– Xiashan Village – Gaishan Village.

Food lovers take note

Travel routes for foodies: the Zhuhai Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone of Tangjiawan (Mud-Baked Chicken, Crab-stuffed Chicken, and local refreshments) - Doumen District (delicacies listed as intangible cultural heritage: Dachikan Roast Pork, Preserved Duck Bundles, Jinchao Pipa Duck, and Hengshan Arrowroot).
