Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai

An all-in-one employment information system has recently come online for Xiangzhou job hunters. Instructions for use were detailed on Jan 31 at the Shishan Civil Arts Center.

The Human Resources & Social Security Bureau of Xiangzhou developed the online platform to boost labor-market efficiency. It is currently available at 15 terminals installed in seven Xiangzhou communities. Visitors can also follow the official WeChat account to access the information.

At hand is a fast communication channel to obtain information on possible job openings, free vocational skills training, illustrations of latest policies, and employment situation analyses. Users can search jobs according to their own requirements and make applications directly using their mobile phones. Not only this, the program opens windows to social security and subsidy application procedures, greatly saving time for both citizens and government staff.

The system is intended to deal with increasing employment demands as well as better serve enterprises with heavy recruitment needs, according to a bureau official.

The launch ceremony of an employment information system is held on Jan 31 in Xiangzhou District with more than 120 people taking part.
