Gree ensures fresh food for the Great Hall banquets

Top-level meeting participants at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing will be able to sample delicious food made from the freshest ingredients thanks to the recent installation of Gree's most advanced refrigeration equipment.

The political hub of Beijing, the Great Hall is the highest-ranking venue in China for various national-level assemblies, large anniversary celebrations and gatherings with foreign dignitaries. The high standards required for banquets at the hall depend on the freshness of food materials.

With the Great Hall's normal air-cooled condensing units failing to keep up with increasing requirements, the hall was anxious to update the performance of its kitchen's refrigeration room.

Direct-current (DC) frequency conversion water-cooled condensing units developed by Gree Electric Appliances outperformed other products to win the bid. Unlike those other products, which are assembled, the Gree units offer high-efficiency integration of modular components, all independently developed.

Furthermore, the largest air-conditioner manufacturer in China utilized its innovative technology to achieve a deviation of only ±0.5 degree Celsius in temperature precision despite yearlong uninterrupted refrigeration. Terminal operations are intelligent, and allow remote control, auto alarms, and automatic troubleshooting. By combining variable frequency technology with a two-stage compression cycle, the units are more energy-efficient than previous equipment by a factor of more than 35 percent. They are also ultra-quiet, another major feature.

Gree is an internationally advanced home appliances manufacturer based in the Xiangzhou District of Zhuhai, Guangdong. The State-owned company began with independent R&D of refrigeration technology, developing its first refrigerated container in 2009. Since then, the company has introduced a range of products to  different global markets.

More locally, the new refrigeration units are not Gree's only contribution to the Great Hall; the company has also provided it with permanent magnetic synchronous centrifugal water chillers and water purifying equipment.
