Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai

A group dance celebrating rich marine culture is performed on Jan 25 at Ningxi Cultural Plaza. It is just one of many excellent performances that won awards during the Xiangzhou's yearlong culture and arts series for 2017 displayed at the closing ceremony.

A string trio given high marks in the series performs again at the closing ceremony. With a treasure-house of music, dance, and photography skills on display, the second edition of the yearlong cultural program showcased the Xiangzhou people's artistic gifts and itself a promotion of the quality of life in the district of Zhuhai.

A sentimental "poesy recitation" with background music wins high acclaim. The outstanding performance wins the poetry recitation contest last March. The cultural program consists of 12 contests, featuring poetry in spring, painting in summer, dancing in autumn and singing in winter.
