Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai

Xiangzhou district-based enterprises made big achievements in quality management throughout 2017, according to a circular released by Zhuhai authority.

Gree Electric Appliances Inc of Zhuhai was nominated for the third China Quality Award, which was officially launched in 2012 and now represents the highest honor in quality.

In addition, two Xiangzhou enterprises –Unitech Power Technology Co Ltd and Guangdong Constar Construction Group entered the list of the 2017 Guangdong Provincial Government Quality Award.Only 10 enterprises across the province engaged in manufacturing, construction and service industries made the list.

Up to now, a total of three Xiangzhou enterprises have taken home the Zhuhai Mayor's Quality Award, accounting for 38 percent of the total across Guangdong province. Meanwhile, four manufacturing companies are expected to be on the list of Guangdong Provincial Government Quality Award, making up 67 percent.

In recent years, Xiangzhou District has taken various measures to complete the product quality supervision and management mechanism, exploring the setting up of a modern quality management structure and strengthening the construction of the quality award selection project.

Xiangzhou District government highly values branding construction and encourages more enterprises to take part in national brand value evaluation and chief quality officer training, aiming to promote their branding awareness.
