Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai

On Dec 26, a group of people with exemplary moral stature were featured in a show that was held in the Xiangzhou District of Zhuhai. The theme and aim of the show was to promote a more spiritual civilization.

These morally high standing people were presented with the 2017 Xiangzhou Good Fellow by government and party officials.

An evening show is held in Xiangzhou District of Zhuhai on Dec 26, aimed to spread good virtues. 

Dancing, singing, and Chinese traditional instrumental performance were staged to encourage and spread the goodness and beauty of people's essential being. Most of the performances were original works by local cadres. Dancing, singing and even a traditional Chinese instrumental were also on display to further encourage the importance of altruistic goodness and the beauty of human nature. Many of these performances were originals works composed by local cadres.

The highlight of the event was a video gave a review of what the district has achieved in the course of becoming an officially accredited civilized city.

Another advancement was the establishment of the city's first museum to feature the certified Good Fellows. It was opened in September withexhibits of pictures and stories that reflected on moral principles.

Officials said that Xiangzhou has put nurturing and practicing the core values of socialism as the fundamental while strengthening publicity, education, and setting examples. Officials have said that nurturing and practicing the core values of socialism is fundamental to Xiangzhou, along with setting further examples through the strengthening of public affairs and education.

According to statistics, the district registered 100,000 volunteers and577 volunteer service teams that have devoted themselves to helping people across every corner of the city.

Xiangzhou had already been honored several times this year already, among the honors were the Huaping Community in Gongbei Sub-district being named a National Civilized Unit and Yang Pao’an Memorial School being among the first-batch of National Civilized Schools.
