Zhuhai V12 Cultural & Creative Industry Park, located in Nanping Town of Xiangzhou District, has been approved as a State-level sci-tech enterprise incubator, according to the Zhuhai Science, Industry & Information Technology Bureau.

The V12 Park was also named a National Entrepreneurship & Innovation Demonstration Base for Small & Micro Enterprises in October this year, one of the first parks in Zhuhai to have both national titles.

The recent result was published by the Torch High Technology Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Science & Technology. The 2017 selection criteria, based on startups' operating mechanisms and incubation systems, services, and performances, were all stricter than previous years'.

The park's one-stop service platform was considered a huge plus during the expert evaluation. Technical support, ranging from stage art to lighting, audio, props and musical instruments for startups in the fields of film & television, public relations, advertisement, online games and new media, is available. Professional consultation service is also provided with training being organized to enhance entrepreneurship.

Covering more than 20,000 sq m with floorage of 42,000 sq m, the V12 Park superseded old industrial factories in #12 Village to function as an integrated base for cultural creative start-ups. The park opened in September with an investment of 130 million yuan ($19.8 million).

The park's CEO Liu Yitong promised continued efforts to improving infrastructure and the working environment. Looking forward to the arrival of quality resources brought about with growing national status, Liu said the base will craft more specialized services to suit each team and entrepreneur according to their individual requirements.
