Policy interpretation guides production management of SMEs

A meeting was held in Xiangzhou on Nov 2 to interpret the provincial and municipal policies promoting real economic development for small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the district.
More than 150 senior executives from 120 Xiangzhou sci-tech SMEs attended the event, which detailed the favorable policies encouraging expanded production, increases in capital, market development, financing, mergers and acquisitions, and construction of venture attraction facilities.
The Xiagnzhou District government has recently introduced management methods for enterprise-supporting funds. The measures were formulated in accordance with policies at higher levels and were based on actual conditions.
In addition to this, a compilation of regulations from the district was reviewed at the meeting with practical methods introduced for technological innovation and financing operations.
Participants were urged to reduce manufacturing costs and speed up technological upgrading in a bid to optimize the district's industrial structure, according to a speech from a financial official.
The training session was the result of combined efforts by the city's and district's Science, Technology, Industry, Trade & Information Technology bureaus, and the Xiangzhou District Financial Service Center.
More such events will take place soon to ensure all policies are put into effect, according to a government official.
