Zhuhai Gree Electric Appliances, a major international electric household machinery manufacturer, will lead Zhuhai exhibitors at the 2017 Guangdong 21st Century Maritime Silk Road International Expo to be held in Dongguan from Sept 21 to 24.
The company's strong independent innovation in electric appliances as well as its intelligent and automated manufacturing will be featured. Gree's practices have been modeled for other state-owned enterprises as guide for how a company can thrive in today's economic climate.
Gree has developed some 100 product types in more than 10 fields including industrial robots, intelligent AGVs (automatically guided vehicles), injection molding manipulators, and large-scale automatic line bodies.
According to an enterprise representative, flagship air-conditioners as well as the latest household electric appliances including kitchen electrical products will be showcased at the expo. A mobile phone developed by the company will also show how Gree is expanding its product line by utilizing its comprehensive industrial chain.

Also highlighted will be the innovative architectural curtain walls developed by Zhuhai Singyes Green Building Technology as well as the virtual displays of Zhuhai 4D Age Technology that have been used for digital museums and reconstructing relics.
The expo will demonstrate Xiangzhou’s and Zhuhai's success following its open development and benefits from the Belt & Road Initiative. The national going-out strategy practiced by most of its enterprises has helped to expand global trade relations, said a government official.
Dedicated to promoting the B&R, the international expo has been held annually since 2015. It brings Guangdong cities together with countries and regions along the Maritime Silk Road, especially those of Southeast Asia.
Dozens of Zhuhai cooperation agreements valued at more than 14.5 billion yuan ($2.2 billion) are expected to be signed, according to an organizer.
