Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai

Xiangzhou District of Zhuhai put on an art show on at Zhuhai Wenyuan Middle School on Sept 8 to honor the 10 most outstanding teachers of the year and their profession's commitment to high standards.

Teachers specializing in different subjects from different schools were thanked for being conscientious and perseverant in showing great care for their students.

Yan Xing from Jingyuan Primary School and Cao Liang from Yang Pao'an Memorial School, both of whom have been recognized nationally, were brought to the stage for special acknowledgement.

Festival greetings were delivered through a series of artistic performances such as dances, songs, operas and poetry recitations. Many of the shows were original creations by students who wanted to express their own gratitude and respect.

More than 700 people were in attendance, including government officials, students and teacher representatives.

The event was sponsored by the Publicity Department of the CPC Xiangzhou District Committee and organized by the Civilization Office and Education Bureau.
