Xiangzhou District of Zhuhai has been featured in a local media campaign to learn development experiences from Guangzhou and Shenzhen in its neighborhood.

The three Pearl River Delta cities in Guangdong Province are often taken as development examples and used as references for reform, industrialization, new economy and innovation.

Zhuhai, as one of the original Special Economic Zones established in the 1980s has explored its own development path at a quick pace, making the most of geographic proximity to Macao and Hong Kong.
