Recruitment on agenda to ensure corporate operations

To cater for its expanding local enterprises, Xiangzhou District held two job fairs on Aug 17.

The Xiangzhou Human Recourses Center organized the recruitment at Zhuhai Human Resources Edifice and Nanwan Human Recourses Market where a total of 45 key enterprises offered 1,296 job opportunities.

More than 740 job seekers attended the events, of which 290 gained preliminary work agreements and 115 signed contracts with Gree Electric Appliances, Zhuhai Minebea Precision Motor, Zhuhai CPT Precision Mold and other companies. They will take up positions as mold designers, cost control inspectors, marketing planner and purchasers.

The job fairs are just one of multiple measures that have been taken to meet the labor demand, according to an official.

The service center has created an early warning system for insufficient employment. The new system requires six human resources agencies to recommend candidates in accordance with specific conditions, encouraged by subsidies.

Moreover, with Zhuhai's anti-poverty projects proceeding well in Lushui City of Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province, and Yangchun county-level city in Guangdong Province's Yangjiang, Xiangzhou will be prioritized to receive outstanding talents from those two places.
