Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai

Zhuhai's Xiangzhou District held a special job fair on Aug 7 to deal with the labor shortage at Zhuhai Sanmei Electrical machinery Co Ltd.

Located in the Qianshan Cuizhu Industrial Zone, the company was established in 1991 and has become a major supplier of power adapters, micro motors, variable capacitors, stylus and switching rectifiers.

The job fair offered 559 jobs for electrical engineers, mechanical designers, production technicians and machine operators, with company taking on 106 people by the end of the day. 

Due to increased orders, Sanmei Electrical faces big labor shortages of between 1,500 to 2,000 people for August and September. 

The Human Resources and Social Security Department of Xiangzhou District will continue to take measures to meet the company's recruitment needs by introducing more workers and providing employment subsidies.
