Some 50 corporate executives in Xiangzhou attended a government-sponsored lecture to learn about the usage of the latest big data technology from communications experts on July 21.

The delegation, consisting of Zhuhai Xinhuatong Software and other small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the district were shown around China Mobile's Zhuhai big data center, headed by the Science, Technology, Industry, Trade and Information Technology Bureau.

Xiong Yong, general manager of China Mobile, Zhuhai was invited to give details of the establishment of the data platform, its operation and application. From the angle of an operator, he said how the technology has been put to use in their cooperation projects with more than 50 government departments and big businesses so far.

The mobile big data center is now an example for communications enterprises to make contributions in elevating government management, leading industrial upgrades, improving livelihoods and strengthening safety protection, according to Xiong.

A support system built for Airshow China was included in the National Top 10 Best Big Data Practices Award this March, making the company the only winner at city level.

The sharing activity aimed to combine in-depth exchanges and experiences between SMEs, entrepreneurs and big brands to achieve win-win results.
