Zhuhai-based Lcola Technology's management software will be used on smart vehicle charging piles in Shenzhen, according to a recent deal.
The charging stations, run by Shenzhen-based Sofar Communications, will see Lcola's smart management system installed across the city, which, via a mobile app, can guide electric automobile drivers to vacant charging piles.
Lcola has also developed portable chargers which can be carried in the boot of an electric vehicle for use in time of emergency.

Shenzhen is the second Chinese city to sign up to Lcola Technology's smart management software after Lanzhou in Gansu province.
In the near future, Sofar Communications plans to add an extra 6,000 charging piles throughout the country for electric vehicles.
The cooperation between the two companies will help to improve convenience for new energy vehicle users.
