Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai

A delegation comprising of business people from Zhuhai's Xiangzhou district visited Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone – known as China's Optics Valley – in Wuhan, Hubei province, from June 6 to 11.

Some 30 executives from Zhuhai companies such as Netbox Technology Co investigated and held discussions with some leading enterprises and technical organizations, including Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics, National Anti-counterfeit Engineering Research Center and an optoelectronic company HGTECH.

During the trip they signed five preliminary agreements on technology innovation such as anti-counterfeiting and traceability.

The visit served as a part of Xiangzhou district's efforts to support the development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The local government has launched a training program providing support in terms of policy consultancy, business exchanges and skill training.

The Science, Technology, Industry and Information Technology Bureau of Xiangzhou district will continue to seek more opportunities to cooperate with leading companies and tech organizations from home and abroad to facilitate the upgrading and sustainable development of local companies.
