Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai

Xiangzhou government delegates attended the ChinaBio Partnering Forum in Zhuhai from May 31 to June 1 to attract biomedical investment from around the globe.

It was the first time for China's premier life science partnering event to be held in Zhuhai since it was established in 2007. It was held in Zhuhai thanks to its favorable business environment and great potential for emerging industries.

Organized by the Zhuhai Bureau of Commerce, the Jinwan Government and ChinaBio Consulting in Shanghai, the forum took place at the Zhuhai International Convention & Exhibition Center and attracted more than 800 biotech and pharma leaders and technology developers from over 20 countries and regions.

Delegates from Xiangzhou's investment promotion bureau attended meetings to hear the latest development trends as well as promote the district's preferential government policies at networking events.

Officials toured the exhibition stalls of Israel's Elcam Medical, Germany's Primacyt Cell Culture Technology and Applied Pharma Research from Switzerland, scouting cooperation opportunities for the advance of high-end technology industries in the district.
