Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai

The Xiangzhou District of Zhuhai held a job fair at the Nanwan Market on May 25, hoping to better connect local enterprises and graduates from local vocational schools.

Thirty-five companies, including Gree Electric Appliance and Mektec, participated in the event to offer over 1,100 job openings ranging from quality inspection to engineering.

Some 500 candidates showed up at the fair, with 166 applicants attaining employment with companies present.

The Xiangjiang Human Resources Bureau, organizer of the event, announced it will hold two more events in June—a summer internship fair for college students and a job fair for local Japanese-funded companies.
