Zhuhai is hoping that its culture industry impresses at the 13th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF), held from May 11 to 15.
The only national-level cultural fair in China, the ICIF is dedicated to creating a trade platform for products and projects of cultural industries.
Cultural industry refers to businesses that produce, distribute, market or sell products that belong categorically in creative arts.
A delegation of enterprises and industrial parks from Zhuhai will attend the event, held at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, determined to expose the cultural strengths of the city.

This year's exhibition team has been expanded to include three unique cultural brands – Zhuhai Grand Theatre, Zhuhai Huafa & CPAA Grand Theatre, and Zhuhai Beach Music Festival.
Zhuhai's Grand Theatre, not even a year old, has become the city's premier arts venue.
"People who have seen the scallop-shaped architectural structure of the Zhuhai Grand Theatre can imagine the landmark building as a world-class platform for topnotch performances," said Chen Jianqiang, general manager of Zhuhai Urban Poly Grand Theatre Management.
The shape of the theater is integrated into the design of Zhuhai's stalls, to help attendees identify the city's strong relationship with the ocean and nature.
Flagship audio and video systems producers Medeli (Zhuhai) Electronics and Zhuhai HiVi Technology will showcase their products at the exhibition. Local specialties such as preserved duck will also be available for guests to sample.
