The unique combined seaside experience of climbing, fishing, food, and tea-tasting at Dreamland Resort in Dawanshan Island proved popular among busy crowds wanting to relax and have fun.

One of the highlights was the 2017 Doumen Music festival held in Lianzhou Town from April 29 to 30. It's the first country music festival in the province and attracted 14 singers, bands, famous deejays and a large crowd of music fans. It was mainly staged outdoors in a rice-paddy field from morning to evening while a small indoor venue showcased music, magic, clowns and beat box performances.

According to Zhuhai Culture Sports and Tourism Bureau, more than 4,000 police and guards were on duty daily to ensure smooth traffic and good order at all attractions.

Ms Tan from Sichuan Province gave her thumbs up to the road safety, "Although there were so many cars and people, Lover's Avenue was well-ordered because vehicles gave way for we pedestrians."
