Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai

Key enterprises from Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai toured seven famous universities and colleges inside and outside Guangdong Province from March 20 to 24, to seek talent for business.

Enterprises including Gree Electric Appliances and Zhuhai Seine Technology toured key vocational schools such as Shaoguan Technician College, to inspect training systems and teaching facilities. Details of cultivating talent together were discussed, especially about offering internship opportunities.

Recruitment has been high on the Xiangzhou government's agenda, with enterprise-school cooperation exchange meetings organized each year since 2014. A platform established has connected 130 Xiangzhou enterprises with 126 colleges from inside and outside Guangdong. More than 3,000 students and graduates have been introduced as employees or internees.

The event was organized by the Organizational Department of the CPC (Communist Party of China) Xiangzhou District Committee, the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Xiangzhou District, and the Xiangzhou Human Resources Center.

Based on surveys of the recruiting needs of local companies, more such tours will be conducted this year to help them find the most suitable graduates.

The Xiangzhou government said they will continue building a bridge between enterprises and schools and help further the cooperation system. Next, they will plan a new recruiting mode where colleges open enterprise-targeted classes for talent nurturing and transporting.
