Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai

A total of 123 industrial enterprises with annual sales over 20 million yuan ($2.89 million) reached a gross output value of 102.2 billion yuan ($14.8 billion) at Xiangzhou's Nanping Sci-tech Industrial Park in 2016.

The increase in output value marks a 7 percent increase year-on-year, and shows signs that business especially of the enterprises above the designated size on the park is thriving.

The national high-tech park in Zhuhai's Xiangzhou District currently has 609 enterprises specializing in equipment manufacturing, household electrical appliances, electronic information, office automation, printing materials, and bio-medicine. 

Last year, the park achieved industrial added value of 26.3 billion yuan ($3.8 billion), up 6.2 percent on 2015.

High on government's work agenda, innovation has been and continues to drive the development of Xiangzhou’s high and new technology and manufacturing industries.

The park's innovative business growth has seen it benefit from improved matching facilities and strengthened safety management, which will double if the recently issued Measures on Innovative Development of Xiangzhou District can be put to good use. 

Xiangzhou government is also stepping up the construction of Gree's intellectual manufacturing park, as well as a new innovative industrial park to facilitate industrial upgrade.
