As Spring Festival approaches, we, the leading group members on talent management, extend our warmest greetings and blessings, and express our heartfelt thanks for your contributions to Xiangzhou's economic and social development in 2016.

Looking back, we succeeded in holding a series of talents-themed activities such as "Made in China 2025" and Artificial Intelligence Conference, and the 2016 Xiangzhou Sci-tech Innovation Competition. These could not have been realized without the great support from local enterprises and people like you, or the radiation effects from Zhuhai – the core city in the west bank of the Pearl River, and the Hengqin Free Trade Zone. 

Outstanding graduates from famous universities have been introduced to our district through many government-sponsored events. They arrived thanks to our comprehensively improved services as well as lucrative incentives given to them. In 2016 alone, we granted some 40 million yuan ($5.8 million) in awards to returned Chinese scholars, technical talents, and elites in high-end industries. We also established 25 service stations at the Nanping Science and Technology Industrial Park, Qianshan Business Logistics Center, Hongwan Trade and Logistics Centre, and some of the district's key enterprises.

Let us look to the future with confidence and hope not only for deepening structural reform on the supply front initiated by the central government, but for Xiangzhou's further implementation of an innovation-driven development strategy.

Holding the belief that only "brain gaining and retaining" can facilitate innovative development, Xiangzhou has taken measures and is formulating related planning to make the district a talent highland.

We sincerely hope that people from all walks of life in Xiangzhou will stand together through thick and thin, and continue to contribute their wisdom and strength. Xiangzhou will be more open-minded, creating a more flexible working mechanism as well as providing more quality services.
