Xiangzhou seeks investment in Beijing

Xiangzhou Deputy Chief Executive Huang Jun led a delegation to tour Beijing-based scientific research institutions and enterprises from Jan 9 to 10 to attract investment.
First, the delegates visited Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences, where they were introduced its latest industrialized project – Indium Phosphide wafers. The semiconductor boasts good radiation resistance and heat-conducting properties. Officials from the Investment Promotion Service Centre of Xiangzhou District said the government would fully support the project if it were to locate in the district.
The delegation then toured Baidu Technology Park and Istuary Innovation Group to learn about their innovative business models. Huang inspected the progress of an internet project launched in Xiangzhou and promised greater support in talent recruitment as well as project attraction for the Zhuhai-based Istuary research institution.
Also on the itinerary was the Civil-military Integration Office of General Armament Department, and China National Machinery Industry Corporation.
