Xiangzhou government officials led a group of high-tech enterprises in a visit to local universities to discuss talents cultivation and arranging work experience on Jan 4.

Five high-end technology enterprises including Netbox Technology, an internet services provider and DHC Software, toured Guangdong University of Technology and South China University of Technology. The colleges of mechanical automation, software and electric power learned more about the district's talent policy and discussed cooperation among firms, universities, and research institutes.

The event was organized by the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and Human Resources Center of Xiangzhou District, the first in a series of talent-aimed enterprise-school activities for 2017. 

Job recruiting events will be organized online and offline for Xiangzhou graduates in March.

Employment has always been on Xiangzhou's development agenda. Many government-sponsored activities were held last year, aimed at upgrading the district's economic prowess.
