Xiangzhou seeks cooperation with overseas experts

Internet, chemistry, and new energy projects were discussed at an event to attract overseas talents to Xiangzhou District of Zhuhai on Dec 24.

The Zhuhai Tsinghua Innovation Incubator hosted the event at the Nanping Science and Technology Industrial Park, where 38 experts from world-renowned institutes such as Yale University and Stanford University were in attendance.

Xiangzhou government officials detailed the district's favorable government policies and business environment. Experts acknowledged the advantages in the district government encouragement, ecological environment and location. They introduced their projects, all of which had independent intellectual property rights, including a cross-border e-commerce platform and an electric scooter charged using solar power.

The event, which has been running in Guangdong for the past eight years, has seen projects such as Zhuhai 4-D Age Technology, and WizardQuant, established in the coastal city.
