Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai

Delegates for the Xiangzhou District government had exchanges with overseas talent in Guangzhou from Dec 21 to 22.

The 2016 Convention on Exchange of Overseas Talents and the 18th Guangzhou Convention of Overseas Chinese Scholars in Science and Technology took place at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center.It is China's largest-scale and most influential platform for bridging investments and foreign projects.

The event, first initiated in 1998, attracted more than 1,000 overseas talents with more than 600 projects.

Delegates from the Investment Promotion Service Centre of Xiangzhou District communicated with scholars from famous universities, including the University of California, Los Angeles and the University of Cincinnati in the United States of America. 

Officials detailed the district's favorable business environment and government policies, hoping that their projects could settle in Xiangzhou. The scholars expressed the willingness to visit Xiangzhou in future.
